How to Make 300 Dollars in a Day

So, you're wondering how to make 300 dollars a day but don't know where to start?

Well, the great news is that there aresomany ways to make this sort of cash.

Between different side hustle ideas or ways to make money online, it's possible to grow your daily income and to make some extra cash if you're in a pinch.

In this post, I'm covering 10 waysto make $300 a day.

These ideas are also going to be sustainable, so you can make this amount of money today as well as into the future.

Let's get to it!

How To Make $300 A Day

Some of the methods to make $300 dollars a day involve working online from the comfort of your own home.

In contrast, some of the ideas in this post are in-person jobs that rely on various gig apps or side hustle ideas.

Think about the type of work you prefer and your skill set, and then pick an idea to start making more money!

1. Become An Online Freelancer

My favorite way to make $300 a day has to be selling your skills online as a freelancer.

There are a few reasons for this, but the first is that I make most of my income from freelance writing so this is a career path I just like.

Additionally, becoming a freelancer opens the door for earning some veryhigh hourly rates as you gain experience.

For example, when I started out as a writer, I was charging around $0.05 to $0.07 per word for a few clients.

After a year, I landed some clients that pay $0.10 to $0.15 per word.

A while later, I have some clients who pay $0.25 per word or even flat rates of $300 to $400 per article.

Medellin, Colombia. This is where I moved when I quit my job and became a full-time freelance writer!

And writing is just one type of freelancing career you can pursue.

Other popular freelancing jobs include:

  • Copywriting
  • Graphic design
  • Marketing
  • Programming
  • Social media management
  • Search engine optimization
  • Web design
  • Video editing
  • Virtual assistant work

I know plenty of freelancers across different industries, and I also know plenty of them who earn $50 to $100 per hour, so making $300 a day is very feasible.

The hardest part about freelancing is building up your client base and finding enough work to pay the bills.

However, you can start freelancing as a side job while you hold down your day job and grow your client roster until it's time to make the jump.

To find clients, your own network is an excellent resource. You can also try various remote job websites or find jobs on Upwork.

The bottom line is that you can make $300 a day online with freelancing, and I think this is also one of the more sustainable methods that also has the highest income potential.

2. Start An Ecommerce Business

Another way to earn $300 a day is to start and grow an ecommerce business.

In my opinion, this is more difficult than making money with freelancing, but I also think the income potential is much higher.

You also have alotof options here in terms of what you sell and where you sell.

For starters, Etsy is one of the most affordable, simplest ways to begin selling online and is the perfect fit if you sell anything handmade or vintage.

Etsy-shop

I even started my own Etsy print on demand store back in college to make money with memes, and while it wasn't a raging success, you can get your shop up and running very quickly.

But Etsy is just one marketplace you can try selling on, so you're not limited to handmade and vintage goods.

Another way to sell online is to useSellfy, an easy-to-use ecommerce platform that lets you open your own storefront in about 5 minutes.

Sellfy I've played around with Sellfy a lot, and it's definitely user-friendly and is an excellent ecommerce platform if you want to skip the technical stuff.

Sellfy also lets you sell a variety of product types, including:

  • Digital products
  • Print-on-demand products
  • Physical products
  • Subscriptions

There's a free plan you can use to try out Sellfy, and the first paid plan is only $29 per month, which is the same as selling through Shopify.

The bottom line is finding a platform to sell online isn't difficult; it's bringing a product or service to market and finding customers that's the tricky part!

But, if you want to make $300 per day, growing an ecommerce brand is a viable strategy.

3. Start & Grow A Blog

If you want to own an income-generating asset and like writing, starting a blog is another route to making $300 a day.

Now, making money with a blog doesn't happen overtime. In fact, many bloggers make no money or take years to grow their blog into a serious income source.

However, I know from personal experience that it's possible to make $300 a day with a blog or much, much more.

The snowball effect can also be quite astounding.

For example, This Online World made $22,000 in 2020 between display ads with Mediavine and various affiliate income streams.

But fast forward these days, and This Online World makes $300 a day or more between advertising revenue and affiliate income.

What I like about blogging is that it's semi-passive income that you can also build reliably.

As long as you learn the basics of SEO, write great content consistently, and grow your traffic, you can make money with your blog.

Again, if you need to make $300 every day starting tomorrow, blogging isn't for you since it takes time to grow.

But if you like passive income and want to build your own online asset, I definitely recommend blogging!

4. Start & Grow A YouTube Channel

Like blogging, another semi-passive way to earn 300 dollars a day is to start a YouTube channel.

Again, this takes alongtime to come to fruition, and I'm still very far away from making $300 a day with my YouTube channel.

But, YouTube has immense potential just like blogging, and a single semi-viral video can skyrocket your channel and change your life.

You need 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of watch time to start making money on YouTube, but once your videos rank on its search engine, YouTube really becomes a nice stream of income.

My channel is a little over one year old, and to date, it's made nearly $9,000 in income.

Lifetime-YouTube-revenue

Currently, the channel makes $20 to $30 in advertising revenue and also funnels traffic back to This Online World.

This is stillveryfar away from making 300 dollars a day like I said, but hey, every business venture has to start somewhere and the potential is there!

5. Deliver Food For DoorDash

Making money with DoorDash is one of the most popular driving gigs that pays since DoorDash is flexible and widely available.

That said, it's highly unlikely you can make $300 a day by DoorDashing exclusively since DoorDash states you can get paid $23 per hour you're out on deliveries.

But, DoorDash is the perfect side hustle for boosting your income by a little extra if you have a day job that pays well but you need help making $300 a day.

For example, if you work a 9-5 job and make around $200 a day, you can put in a few more hours doing DoorDash and make up the difference to reach your financial goals.

This is a grind, but if you drive at peak times and follow some DoorDash driver tips, you can make very good money per hour in busy markets.

And, if you deliver during holidays, weekends, or during massive events in your city, it's possible to clear a few hundred dollars in a day of deliveries.

Again, this isn't a direct way to earn $300 a day, but jobs like DoorDash or other food delivery jobs like Instacart can help you make some extra cash.

6. Rent Out Assets You Own

If you want a more hands off approach to get $300 a day, you can try renting out stuff you own for money.

The most common example of this that's also very lucrative is to rent out a spare room or your home with platforms like Airbnb.

Airbnb-host-earnings

But, there are lots of other rental marketplaces where you can list your assets for rent to earn some extra cash.

Popular rental platforms include:

  • Neighbor – The Airbnb of spare storage space that lets you rent out things like an empty garage or shed to people in your city.
  • Turo – Lets you rent out your car to people for passive income.
  • RVShare – Rent out an unused RV to people and turn that RV into an income stream
  • Fat Llama – A General rental marketplace where people rent out things like cameras, drones, electronics, and instruments.

Like DoorDash, I think this rental idea would be something you use to supplement a main income source in order to make three hundred dollars a day.

However, there's plenty of opportunity out there, so don't be afraid to get a little creative!

7. Sell Digital Products

I mentioned digital products briefly when I covered starting your own ecommerce business, but I really think this idea deserves its own section.

The nice part about selling digital products online is that it's very speedy, scalable, and high-margin.

I mean, with digital products, you don't have to worry about manufacturing costs or time, shipping headaches, and storing inventory; you just sell digital files to people and call it a day!

Figuring out what sort of digital file to sell is a bit trickier, but some common candidates include:

  • Digital artwork
  • Stickers
  • Planners
  • Online courses
  • Sheet music
  • Video assets

People sell stickers on Etsy and all other sorts of printables as an example, and some store owners have thousands of sales!

Etsy-digital-sticker-seller Like a regular ecommerce business, I wouldn't pursue this route if you need the money fast and are in a pinch.

But if you want to grow your own online business and skip the hassles of shipping and manufacturing, I think selling digital products is the way to go.

I have a blogging course coming out soon, so this is definitely an area I'm planning to explore, so stay tuned!

8. Offer Online Coaching

If you have a social media following, blog, or YouTube channel, branching into online coaching is another way to make $300 a day or more.

Coaching is typically a high-margin business since people are usually willing to pay a lot of an hour or two of your time if you're an expert at something.

I've made money with Facebook and Google Ads consulting in the past, which is similar to coaching, and it's not unreasonable to charge a few hundred dollars for your time for that sort of thing.

But people make crazy amounts of money offering online coaching plans for things like:

  • Business strategy
  • Fitness
  • Lifestyle and motivation
  • Relationships

An example of a coaching plan page from Rob Lipsett, a fitness YouTuber I've followed for a while.

And, the thing I like about online coaching is that you have a lot of creative ways to monetize.

For example, you don'tjusthave to offer one-on-one coaching plans; you can sell courses, host group webinars, sell eBooks, and create multiple revenue streams for your business.

The main downside of this method is again, it takes time to build your audience, brand, and to get clients.

But coaching is a very high-margin business, and you can also feel good that you're helping people accomplish their goals!

9. Get An $80,000 Per Year Job

If you want a straightforward way to make $300 dollars per day, you can always look for jobs that pay $80,000 a year.

Earning around $80,000 per year works out to around $1,500 per week, which is $300 per working day you have.

300-dollar-daily-salary Most starting jobs don't pay this much, but there's lots of content on This Online World that can help you find high-paying jobs like:

  • 20+ jobs that pay $5,000 per month.
  • The best jobs that pay $10,000 a month.
  • How to make $20,000 a month.

To make this amount of money, you're probably looking at more technical jobs that involve engineering or programming.

But even some trades jobs can pay $80,000 per year or more, so there are lots of options to explore depending on what interests you!

10. Pick Up Overtime

If you're still wondering how to make $300 dollars in a day, the simplest answer might be to pick up overtime if your job offers it.

My best friend works for a brewery, and if he picks up overtime, he makes time-and-a-half.

This lets him clear hundreds of dollars in a weekend of overtime, which is the perfect type of arrangement if you have some extra time on your hands and want to bank some extra cash.

Of course, not every job offers overtime, but if yours does, a weekend or two of grinding could be the solution you're looking for.
